To the regular few individuals that likes to creep on my mediocre pictures and rides, you should follow me on Instagram and/or Strava.

The pictures have gotten better.

3 Jan 11
Nothing Special today, just a quick ride to get out of the house and spin the pedals.  It was fun to beat a car on a decent.

SUPER STIFF
In light of my last ride, where a very rough 5 mile segment left my hands almost numb, I thought I would have a little fun at home and make some SS decals for my bike.  Considering that the frame is aluminum, and made by Cannondale, super stiff might be an understatement.

Nothing fancy, and it turned out fairly well.
The nice thing is that at any time in the future, SS could always mean Super Sleek, Stylish, Smooth etc.

DAY 3
Today started out better than yesterday.  Both water bottles were filled, opposed to the half full bottle I set out with yesterday.  I picked up some tubes from my shop and continued down the road feeling like a million bucks!
Turns out I couldn't make my mileage/km goal, I think I bit off a bit more than I could chew, but I made it home.  I hope you enjoy the photos I took on the way.

Shadow Shot and some curious holes in the road.

About to make the climb.       They painted Yoshi in the bike lane.

Scenic, Historic, & VERY Bumpy & a beautiful vast expanse.
Funny note, in the "Beautiful vast expanse." photo, you can barley see another cyclist coming the oposite direction.  Turns out that guy passed me up about ten miles later.  Gotta love being slow.

I have no idea what this is, maybe something for weather...
or maybe for UFO hunters! Ha!

I thought the cement wall looked pretty cool with
the sun shining on it like that, and Contrails are always great.

Today my long awaited wool kneekers came in the mail.  These were the justification for procrastinating my riding... so within 30 minutes I was on the road.
I was pleased to find that my soreness and fit issues from yesterday were long gone, and I felt right at home.  It was great to be back on my bike!

Sounds like a plan, especially my love of cycling!  Thanks Rapha for the extra motivation!
Only 474 left to go after today...

This post is for yesterday's ride.  It was the first time back in the saddle in four months...  and it felt like it.   After a lot of self questioning, I was able to get a whopping 8 km down, 492 left.
